D DAY Historical Trails Tour

D DAY TOUR
D DAY TOUR
Follow the Airborne and Sea Landings of the 6th of June 1944 and the stories of what is believed to be the Greatest Generation. From the landings of the British 6th Airborne on the eastern flank to the American 101st and 82nd Airborne in the west. The Beach landings along Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword. The tour follows the timings on June 6th and will end on the 4th Day at Sword Beach covering the stories of American, Canadian and British troops and their movement inland.
The D Day Tour is over a 4 day / 3night stay and begins on your arrival in France. Unlike any other tour operators we do not incorporate a day travel at each end of the trip but instead start your journey when we arrive in Normandy.
To make the most of your stay we advise an early morning flight from Dublin to Paris which is usually between 6.30 and 7.00am although later flights are available from Belfast. This means that we can begin our tour at Lunchtime on the day of arrival. Accommodation will be based either in Bayeux or Caen depending on availability and will consist of twin room sharing unless specifically requested. Single person supplement may apply.
